About the School
Kamal Vidya Niketan School (KVN) is managed by The Kathiwada Foundation. The Kathiwada family is spearheading social development in the region through the foundation. The core objective of the foundation is to positively impact and influence the lives and surroundings of those in the region of Kathiwada. The foundation with its flagship project (KVN) is addressing a major problem of inadequate learning facilities in Kathiwada.
VISION
We aim to empower the children of Kathiwada to be architects of change for themselves and their communities.
MISSION
In the short term, we are building Kamal Vidya Niketan as a one-of-a-kind, school of excellence in the district. In the long term, we will partner with aanganwadi's and local primary schools and extend our impact to “all children” in Kathiwada’s 149 villages.
